Yalikavak is a bustling place with shops, cafés, restaurants, bars and a healthy nightlife. The town is only two miles from Villa Polly and in addition to shops and markets, you’ll find a luxury marina complex with excellent restaurants and a supermarket.

Gumusluk is an idyllic coastal village just a couple of miles from the villa, and has become famous over the years for its superb fish restaurants on the waterside. This is our favourite place, serving gloriously fresh food in a really friendly atmosphere.

Bodrum was an important port in ancient times, and retains plenty of cultural interest. It can be as relaxing or lively as you want to make it, with a magnificent castle and new marina. The whole peninisular is blessed with wonderful scenery and traditional villages scatter the landscape. There are many local markets to explore.
